Rates & stays

Fixed nightly accommodation rates for up to two guests, excluding tourist tax. Tourist tax is charged in addition, along with any applicable extra-guest and cleaning fees shown below.

3rd & 4th guest: +€20 per person / night

Final cleaning: €49 once per stay for 2 nights; no cleaning fee for stays of 3 nights or more.

Tourist tax: Per person/night: €2.50 from age 16, €1.60 for ages 6–15; children aged 5 and under are exempt. Other local reductions and exemptions may apply.

Price calculation & examples

How your total is calculated

Fixed accommodation rates for up to 2 guests: €75 per night in low season, €110 in high season. Tourist tax is not included and is added: per person/night, €2.50 from age 16, €1.60 for ages 6–15, no charge for ages 5 and under; local exemptions may apply. Total price = sum of nightly accommodation rates + €20 per night for each 3rd and 4th guest + €49 final cleaning once for 2 nights (no fee from 3 nights) + applicable tourist tax for all guests and nights.

Example stay totals

2 nights in low season · 2 guests aged 16+

Accommodation: 2 × €75 = €150; cleaning: €49; tourist tax: 2 guests × 2 nights × €2.50 = €10.

Total including cleaning and tourist tax €209

5 nights in high season · 2 guests aged 16+

Accommodation: 5 × €110 = €550; cleaning: €0; tourist tax: 2 guests × 5 nights × €2.50 = €25.

Total including cleaning and tourist tax €575

Examples assume all nights fall in the stated season and no tourist-tax exemption applies. Actual totals depend on nights, guest ages and applicable exemptions.

Payment & cancellation

Your enquiry is non-binding and does not require payment. These terms apply to confirmed bookings. Before you commit, Daniel provides a written offer with the total price, payment terms and exact date and time of the free-cancellation deadline (local time Europe/Berlin).

Payment
The full agreed price is due by bank transfer as soon as the booking is confirmed. This also applies to last-minute bookings. Daniel provides the bank details personally.
Advance payment & security deposit
The entire amount, rather than a partial down payment, is due on booking confirmation. Full payment before arrival is an advance payment. There is no security deposit.
Free cancellation
You can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival; the offer gives the exact deadline and time. You can cancel by replying to Daniel's booking email. Any payments are refunded in full within 7 calendar days of receiving a cancellation within that deadline. Bookings made after the deadline are subject to the late-cancellation rules from confirmation.
Late cancellation, no-show & early departure
For late cancellations or no-shows for personal reasons, the agreed accommodation price generally remains payable. For early departures for personal reasons, this also applies to unused nights. We deduct saved expenses and applicable credits from replacement bookings. We try to re-let the released nights and do not charge the full accommodation price twice for the same period.
Calculation & refunds
We provide an itemised calculation of charges, deductions and payments already received. You can challenge the calculation and show that no amount or a lower amount is due. Payments already received are credited against the amount due; any excess is refunded. There is no additional flat-rate no-show or cancellation penalty.
Your statutory rights
Statutory rights arising from defects or our failure to provide the agreed accommodation remain unaffected. Free cancellation is a contractual arrangement, not a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

Before accepting a binding offer, obtain the exact dates, guest count, total price and free-cancellation deadline in writing, together with the payment and cancellation terms shown above. Full payment is due on booking confirmation, not on sending an enquiry. Please also confirm sleeping arrangements, check-in and check-out times and pets. Your enquiry is not a reservation.

Accommodation contracts for specific dates do not carry a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. This is separate from any contractually agreed cancellation options. This enquiry is not a booking. § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB

01What kind of space is it?

It’s a private basement guest suite in our home in Eisenbach, completed in summer 2026: a vacation home near Titisee in Germany’s Black Forest. The 52 m² suite sleeps 2–4 guests.

02How can I book a stay?

Choose Book to send Daniel your preferred dates and number of guests, or email Daniel.brunner01@gmx.de. He’ll reply with availability and booking details. The fixed nightly rates are listed in Rates & stays. Your request is confirmed as a booking only after he confirms it with you.

03Where will I find you?

You’ll find us at Waldstr. 13, 79871 Eisenbach Hochschwarzwald, near Titisee in Germany’s Black Forest. Daniel will share arrival details with you before your stay.

04Is the suite accessible?

Yes. Although the suite is on the basement level, it has its own entrance and is directly accessible from the road. If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact Daniel before booking to discuss the interior layout.

05Is parking available?

Yes, a free parking space is available right outside the front door.
